What We Do

Salem Baptist Chapel is evangelistic in its outlook. We are keen to let others know of the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every department of the church has evangelism at its centre whether that be Sunday school, SignPost Deaf Fellowship, Care Home visitations or contact work in the community.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew Chapter 19 vs 14 said “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” We take these words of the Lord as commanding His people to teach little ones the word of life from an evangelistic perspective. Evangelistic Outreach

We are keen to spread the word of God far and wide in our City. Below are some reasons why we evangelise. Bible and Literature Distribution

We have a bible, book and literature distribution table along Bridge Street. Bridge Street which is located a few metres away from the Cathedral square. This table is set up on the afternoon of every last Saturday of the month. Through this work we hope to distribute good literature, books and bibles to as many people as possible. Russian language theological books are Included on this table.
